Most of us don’t have to run for our lives on a regular basis, like the heroines of the stories I like to dream up in front of my computer. But most of us do battle fear in our lives, in one way or another. We let our worry fight against our desire for adventure, for full lives, and sometimes…worry seems like it wins. But it shouldn’t. It doesn’t.

That’s why I write. Because I want to tell you, to tell me, that Jesus has us. And I believe He wants us to leave our fears behind. He says that he came so we’d have life “more abundantly.”

That’s what I want you and I to see in our own stories, heroines (and heroes!) who live their lives fully, set free from fear no matter the circumstances.

And that’s how I write my books too.
